WOOOHOOOOO! I ACTUALLY MADE SOMETHING!

Are you all sick of me yet? HAHAHA! Tough luck, you bunch of sweeties, 'cause I am in a posting kinda mood. SHORT posts, yes, but posts! This time, having just returned from a VERY lively and fun morning, I wanted to settle in and finish one of several things I'm making for Jacoby, my soon-to-be-born great grandson. I cannot for the LIFE of me recall where the heck I FOUND the pattern, but I WANT to say on Ravelry. Forgive my old brain, dear designer! At any rate, I DID finish it and here it IS!
Mickey Mouse hat, diaper cover, hand warmers, and booties!
Here's the back of the diaper cover. Well, he HAS to have a TAIL, of course! LOL!

I just think it's a hoot! Confession: I DON'T enjoy making baby things because my hands have VERY little feeling (neuropathy) and my vision sucks, so the small hooks are difficult. Still, there's no way I will fail to make handmade stuff for my sweethearts while I can! Okie dokie! I'm off to start on a second gifty for Jacoby! Back soon to drive you all crazy some more!
P.S. Almost forgot. This morning at Barnes and Noble, one of the guys who works ONLY during Christmas was working the Info Desk. I saw him and went to say hello and ask how he's been this past year and how his classes are going. He kind of looked at me funny and finally said, "I guess I know you, right? Sorry, I don't remember your name." I said, "That's okay! I'm pretty forgettable! It's Kai." He backed up (literally) and said, "NO WAY." Came OUT of the info booth and circled me - TWICE. Then (drumroll) he said 3 words I NEVER expected to hear following MY name: "Kai - YOU'RE SO SMALL!" WOOOOOHOOOOO! I'm NOT small. But I am vastly smaller than when he saw me last December! Made my day, week, month, etc. AND made this journey just a bit easier!
NOW I'm finished bugging you sweeties!

You go, girl! That's fabulous that he didn't recognize you! Isn't that just the most fun thing ever!

Have a great weekend and Merry Xmas and all that jazz!

Love ya!

Oh my gosh I love the Mickey baby outfit it is adorable!! You really did a great job. Let us know if you remember where we can get the pattern.
I can just imagine how thrilled you were at the bookstore...what a wonderful treat for all the hard work you've done. I now have to get healthier. I'm having my knee replaced and after all the painful therapy I plan to do something i haven't been able to do for over 6 years....walk!! I'm dreading it and looking forward to it all at the same time=)
